WOW Festival

Join the WOW Festival for three days of fun, laughter, inspiration and serious reflections on gender equality in the world today with contributions from Queensland, Australia and across the countries of the Commonwealth of Nations. Performances, exhibitions, workshops, speed mentoring and much much more including stories of women’s life in some of the most remote areas of the world today. WOW Brisbane will feature Commonwealth Now contributors Margaret Busby, Annie Zaidi, Urvashi Butalia and Kateri Akiwenzie-Damm, and co-editors Julianne Schultz and Jane Camens. This event is part of Festival 2018, running alongside the Gold Coast Commonwealth Games.
