Spanish inspired Chocolateria San Churro has announced its new menu will include gluten friendly churros, catering for the thousands of Australians who follow a low gluten lifestyle. Customers will see gluten friendly versions of San Churro’s signature dishes, including traditional fresh-to-order churros from Tuesday 3 July.

San Churro CEO Giro Maurici said the new range is crafted with a low gluten recipe that contains less than 200 pars per million of gluten. “Our gluten friendly offering is a result of consumer feedback received by our network of stores and has been in development for the past 12 months,” said Giro. San Churro aims to provide a fun and inclusive dining experience and offers a range of vegan friendly and dairy-free sweet treats as well.

Churros, sometimes referred to as Spanish doughnuts, is a fried straight pastry dusted in sugar and served with a dipping sauce of pure melted chocolate or Spanish caramel. The San Churro menu boasts not only churros, but a selection of desserts, smoothies, premium shakes, truffles and macarons.

San Churro has locations across Brisbane and the gluten friendly options are available nation-wide from Tuesday 3 July.
