Four Colour Season

Australia’s vocal ensemble The Song Company in collaboration with Thomas E.S. Kelly’s Karul Projects presents Four-Colour-Season, an evergreen performance of song and brand-new Indigenous dance, celebrating the patterns and movement of Australia’s many seasons. The traditional four seasons have been depicted in European art and music for centuries, but the Aboriginal experience of the seasons is much more varied – a subtler story that tells of the patterns of animal and plant life and their direct impact on survival. This unique collaboration celebrates separate heritages and creates a new desire path together; taking an artistic route that does not fit within classic boundaries.
