The Wickham Hotel will be holding its first Little Gay Day  in a bid to raise funds for the LGBTQ+ youth community on Sunday 30 September.

This bite-sized version of Big Gay Day is in celebration and support of LGBTQ+ youth. Based entirely inside The Wickham Hotel, the venue will be transformed into a mini-festival with musical acts, drag performances and entertainment filling the Corner and Garden Bars from 3pm. Entry is a gold coin donation with all proceeds going to Open Doors Youth Service, supporting local LGBTQ+ youth.

Little Gay Day will feature various musical acts by Sheldon Riley from The Voice Australia, The Marion Cranes, DJ JAMEZ BROWN, and DJ DZRY. There will also be performances by Luna Thick, Betty Knives, Minion.exe, Richie L’Estrange, Quiche Lorraine, Olive, and Coco Verdose.

Open Doors Youth Service is Queensland’s leading youth homelessness and support service enriching the lives of young people with diverse genders, sexualities, and bodies. The organisation supports high risk and at-risk young people in developmentally and culturally appropriate ways to support to enhance connections to family, culture, and community.
