Combining handmade botanical inks and textiles, artist Dana Lawrie creates a new installation reflecting upon permanence and impermanence. This textile-based artwork will incorporate both photosensitive and indelible flower and botanical inks that have been handmade by the artist from a range of plants. The process of making and using these natural inks and dyes creates artworks that fade or change and mark or blur the passing of time.
