Verdi Requiem

This Verdi Requiem performance will be held at the Queensland Performing Arts Centre. It features four of Brisbane’s community ensembles under the baton of conductor, Peter Luff. From the thunderbolt explosions of the Dies Irae to the hushed prayers of the Libera Me, Verdi’s use of vigorous rhythms, sublime melodies, and dramatic contrasts are showcased in this performance.
