Opera Queensland returned to QPAC on 23 and 24 October, exactly one year since the premiere of its last main stage production, the critically acclaimed Orpheus and Eurydice.  Over two nights, Opera Queensland took centre stage in ENCORE, a concert event featuring songs by revered composers including Puccini, Verdi, Bizet, and Tchaikovsky. Performing at the concert was Shaun Brown, Andrew Collis, Eva Kong, Rosario La Spina, Virgilio Marino, and Milijana Nikolic. They were joined by conductor Dane Lam, Queensland Symphony Orchestra, and Opera Queensland’s 2020 Young Artist Rebecca Cassidy, making her main stage debut with the company.
