Queensland Theatre’s performance of Triple X finished its 2021 run on stage after being shutdown by the pandemic in 2020. The show which ran from March to April follows a love story between Dexie, a trans woman played by Glace Chase and Scotty, a straight “Wall Street banker bro’ played by Josh McConville. Glace Chase not only performed as Dexie, but also wrote the play from her own experiences, blending a combination of tragedy and comedy throughout the play. Audiences saw Triple X, directed by Paige Rattray, in the Billie Brown Theatre.
