The Opening Night of Queensland Theatre’s powerful final production of 2019, the Greek Tragedy, Antigone, took place on Thursday October 31 at the Bille Brown Theatre. Adapted by Matilda award-winner Merlynn Tong (after Sophocles), Antigone is directed by Travis Dowling and stars Jessica Tovey, Christen O’Leary, Kevin Spink, Penny Everingham and Shubshri Kandiah. Antigone runs until November 16 in Queensland Theatre’s Billie Brown Theatre.
