As part of the agreement, Emporium Hotel South Bank will be recognised as a Supporting Partner for The Australian Ballet’s 2019 Brisbane season of Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland.

General Manager at Emporium Hotel South Bank Charles Martin said the hotel is excited by the partnership. “We are thrilled to partner with The Australian Ballet, one of the world’s premier ballet companies,” he said. “We share a passion for providing our guests with a commitment to excellence and creating exquisite experiences that remain with them for a lifetime. Together with The Australian Ballet, we hope to inspire and excite our guests with our exclusive packages in the sumptuous surrounds at Emporium Hotel South Bank.”

Executive Director at The Australian Ballet Libby Christie said, “The Australian Ballet is delighted to partner with Emporium Hotel South Bank for our Brisbane premiere season of Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland. We share Emporium’s enthusiasm for the arrival of our highly acclaimed production, which is bound to captivate audiences after sell-out seasons in Sydney and Melbourne in 2017. This production promises a memorable journey down the rabbit hole thanks to the ingenious puppetry, projections and eye-bending illusions. Emporium’s location is an ideal fit for The Australian Ballet, positioned a short distance from QPAC, where we will call home for the duration of our time in Brisbane. We look forward to sharing the Emporium Hotel South Bank’s style, quality and service with our patrons”.

Emporium Hotel South Bank is located on Grey Street in Brisbane, within Anthony John Group’s $600 million Southpoint precinct. The hotel is close to the Queensland Performing Arts Centre (QPAC), which will host Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland.

Established in 1962, The Australian Ballet is Australia’s national ballet company, presenting performances each year in capital cities, regional centres and schools across Australia. With a commitment to artistic excellence, a spirited style and a willingness to take risks, The Australian Ballet has delivered extraordinary performances for more than 50 years and regularly represents Australia on the world stage.
