Friends of Queensland Theatre were the first to see the newly renovated Bille Brown Theatre on Thursday 27 September. A state-of-the-art corner stage, designed to be the perfect place for stories, artists and most importantly, audiences, the total cost of the renovation project was $5.5 million, greatly assisted by a $2 million grant from the State Government. Audiences will see the theatre for themselves with the Nearer the Gods opening the theatre on Saturday 6 October.
