Been missing live music? Get down to The Boundary from 9pm Friday, May 28 to experience some of the country’s best live music on your doorstep.

Whether you are in the mood for blues and roots, reggae, folk, rockabilly or a bit of country to get your boots tapping, The Boundary will transport you to the underground bars of New Orleans and honky tonks of Tennessee from right here in West End.

Brisbane based musician Pete Cullen will launch the Blues & Roots nights with his band, The Hurt, on Friday, May 28 and said it’s venues like The Boundary that are keeping the live music industry afloat in Brisbane. “Nowadays it’s critical for artists to be able to perform live in venues like The Boundary,” he said. “Covid has really impacted the music industry in Australia with capacity restrictions and shutdowns, so it’s really important to support local pubs and venues because without them there will be no gigs and or nowhere to have a good time with friends, so get amongst it!”

The Boundary’s General Manager, Grant Morgan, is looking forward to welcoming back the sounds of Americana, rockabilly, folk, blues and roots, and reggae to West End. “The Boundary has a rich history of these styles of music so we’re working closely with artists like Pete Cullen to ensure our patrons will see some of the best blues and roots acts in Australia such as Mojo Webb and The Walters, and many more great musicians.”

Every Friday from 9pm the beers and tunes will be flowing, with the iconic West End watering hole launching their Blues & Roots nights in the Public Bar from Friday, May 28. For more information visit www.theboundary.com.au #theboundaryhotel
