The Three Birds are best friends and busy mothers who ditched their corporate careers to renovate houses. Now with massive Instagram and YouTube followings for their design and renovation techniques, the trio have released a book, Three Birds Renovations.

When best friends Erin, Bonnie and Lana ditched their corporate careers to start Three Birds Renovations, they were rookie renovators with big ideas. Today, with many incredible house transformations under their tool belt, they are a power trio turning neighbourhood ugly ducklings into swans.

In just four years, Erin, Bonnie and Lana have renovated nine properties. That is 32 bedrooms, 18 bathrooms, nine laundries and 11 kitchens — not to mention the countless decks, extensions, pergolas, pools and gas-strut windows they have installed. In that time they have learned more than a thing or two, made mistakes, and asked their tradies more questions than anyone should in a lifetime, but they are arguably one of the most passionate, experienced and phenomenally successful renovation teams around.

In the book they write: “Each project has given us the opportunity to learn something new and build our confidence. Everything we know is self-taught and comes from our own real reno experience. Now we’re ready to share what we’ve learned with you. Each chapter showcases a different home with a collection of our favourite pictures from those projects, (including the Cottage with a Modern Twist; the Hamptons in the Hills; the Beach Shack; and the Modern Coastal Barn), and our most valuable tips. Life’s too short to live in a home you don’t love!”

The ‘birds’ book is packed with gorgeous details from their projects, friendly words of encouragement and more than 400 reno tips to help you avoid budget blow-outs, manage timelines, and style without stress.
