Lumber Punks Axe-Throwing is teaming up with the National Breast Cancer Foundation to host a $20 Buck Chuck Day to help raise funds and awareness for Breast Cancer Research on Sunday 28 October.

Lumber Punks Gold Coast and Lumber Punks West End will both be hosting the event, with participants welcome to join for the 1.5 hour axe-throwing session. All monies paid will go directly to The National Breast Cancer Foundation and will accompany Lumber Punk’s #PINKPUNKS contribution also.

In a normal game of Axe-Throwing there are two green dots located above the main rings of the target. These dots are called high hats and they are a bonus shot that can be claimed on the last throw of every round. For the whole month of October, these high hats are now painted pink. Any player who scores on a pink high hat in the course of a competition will not only land the scorer seven points in their game, but also a $5 donation by Lumber Punks Axe-Throwing to Breast Cancer Research. On Monday night’s Axe-League at the Gold Coast, players scored 70 high hats throughout the evenings competition, landing a $350 donation.

The session on Sunday 28 October will cost $20. Axe-throwers must be aged over 18 and wear closed-toe shoes.

Lumber Punks Brisbane is located in West End’s Montague Road, while the Gold Coast venue is in Miami.
