The opening night of Dogs in the Schoolyard in QPAC’s Cremorne Theatre on 7 May 2021 was a great success. The audience young and old was captivated by this all new production that combines storytelling, circus and original music. Featuring a story about the dynamics within children’s friendship groups told through the lens of a pack of dogs and group of birds, the show offers a conversation starter for families about acceptance of differences, kindness, resilience and relationships. Dogs in the Schoolyard features an all children cast, making it especially relatable for young audiences. A Flipside Circus production in association with Assembly of Elephants and supported by QPAC’s Out of the Box, Dogs in the Schoolyard is suitable for people of all ages, but especially recommended for children aged 3 to 8 years. The show runs until 15 May.
