Living locally and now practising locally, General Surgeon Dr Lee Ong has called West End home since 2010.
Both his children attend the local public schools and his wife is an avid fan of the many markets in the area. Hailing from Malaysia, Dr Lee Ong received his MBBS from Monash University, Melbourne, and his FRACS in general surgery after training in Darwin, Far North Queensland and Brisbane. He spent a further 2 years sub-specialising at the Oncoplastic Surgical Breast Unit at Perth’s Sir Charles Gairdner Hospital. Apart from English, Dr. Lee Ong also speaks, reads and writes in Malay, Mandarin, Cantonese and Hokkien.
Through Top Health Doctors, West End, Dr Lee Ong consults for a wide range of general surgical conditions such as perectal bleeding, hemorrhoids, hernias, gall bladder issues, emergency surgeries and checking for suspicious lesions, lumps and bumps. In-house he performs vasectomies, circumcisions and the removal of skin lesions. Additionally Dr Lee Ong consults for breast-related issues such as oversized breasts, which cause back, neck and shoulder pains, mastitis, breast cancer and related post-op reconstruction. He also performs gynaecomastia surgery for men who desire a manlier chest.
