Anywhere Theatre Festival Upcoming Events

As part of ‘Anywhere Theatre Festival’, Barnie Duncan and Dani Cabs are bringing three very unique shows to a very unique venue.

Poncho Orange
A wild mix of clowning, dancing and physical comedy. Flowing through the audience with his hypnotic and sensual moves, Dani delicately and innocently leads you on an unforgettable tale of passion, desire and pure silliness. He tempts the crowd into a flow of interaction and improvisation that’ll leave you crying tears of laughter and joy!

Calypso Nights
This show is a truly unique experience ending with an all-in Latin dance party. The show entertains and expands minds, with the audience delving into a world of previously unknown music and questionable geo-political leanings with their lovable-idiot guide, Juan. Barnie is also a regular gigging DJ, specialising in global beats, and in Calypso Nights he combines real life vinyl record players, a microphone and a set of maracas with exceptional character comedy to make a musical comedy brain-fiesta.

Weekend at Barnie’s
Using the 80’s cult film, Weekend at Bernie’s, as a launch-pad, Cabs and Duncan bring to life…more like, resurrect this goofball one-joke masterpiece and ride it for all it’s worth. This show is an absurd mix of stand-up, physical comedy and slapstick that combines and contrasts Cabs’ high energy and enthusiasm with Duncan’s nonchalant dead-guy deadpan.
