The rise in popularity of shows like Grand Designs and The Block, has brought the topic of building a new home and home renovating into millions of Australian households. For many, remodeling or building their family home is the single greatest investment they will make. And though more Australians are being exposed to the advantages of design, only five per cent of homes are designed by architects, leaving the majority of people unable to access the benefits. Yeronga home owner Fiona Jackson and Managing Director of Paddington’s Space Property Nick Penklis, will join homeowner Lisa Hatherly and West End architect Tim Bennetton to discuss the benefits of engaging an architect for renovation or new home. The panel will share their experiences of how working with an architect can be affordable, easy, and enjoyable.
