In this public discussion, Brisbane Free University brings together community organisers and academics engaged in various ways with the securitised city for a panel discussion on surveillance, policing and ‘smart’ cities in Australia. Topics touched upon will include the violence of policing, security and surveillance, and colonial logics that continue to underpin and dominate these cities.
