Each September the Brisbane Festival arrives in the river city boasting a thrilling program of the arts, including theatre, music, dance, circus, opera and major events such as Riverfire. The festival attracts an audience of more than one million people each year. Brisbane Festival is one of the youngest major annual Australian arts festivals by at least a decade, and in that time, Brisbane Festival has established itself as a world class festival and one of Brisbane’s biggest cultural events.
