Radio 4EB 40th Anniversary Gala

The ethnic broadcasting association of Queensland (EBAQ 98.1 FM) is hosting its 40th birthday gala dine at Brisbane City Hall. Political figures have been invited as well a three-course meal is to be served, musical performances and dance performances are sure to be the main attraction for this gorgeous event. Queensland’s only full-time multi-language radio station, Radio 4EB, started its first official broadcast on 1 December 1979 and has been operating since. This year, on the eve of this date, 4EB will mark 40 years on air, and use this significant milestone to celebrate and recognise the work that the station has done for the past 4 decades with the help of various Brisbane and Queensland communities.
