Class Clowns Comedy Show

Each year hundreds of teens put down their pencils and pick up the microphone, as they take to the stage in the Class Clowns Comedy competition. Be part of Melbourne International Comedy Festival’s one-of-a-kind, national secondary school comedy competition open to students in Years 9-12. Register your stand-up, sketch, physical or musical act for free and participate in a two-hour workshop/rehearsal with a professional comedian to polish your act before performing for a real live audience. State Final winners perform at the National Grand Final in Melbourne and go into the running to win a $2500 prize package. With alumni including Joel Creasey, Rhys Nicholson, Aaron Chen and Tom Ballard, Class Clowns truly is a one-of-a-kind experience and a springboard to success. Registrations are now open online.
