Fronting iconic indie act The New Pornographers for almost two decades, Dan Bejar, aka Destroyer, has constantly switched styles, taking in everything from baroque pop to rampaging glam rock. A staggering 12 albums and four EPs later, Bejar’s latest record Ken sees him return with more of his signature lyricism, delivered as conversational narratives. This performance will be Destroyer’s first-ever performance in Australia and a rare glimpse for Brisbane audiences into the mind of Dan Bejar.
