First Nations Nguyaguya-mi-lang Nurawin

$30Celebrate our national heritage by witnessing living art at the Henderson Gallery. This year, Brisbane Fashion Month endeavoured to build the fashion community to showcase nationally. Nguyaguya-mi-lang Nurawin is First Nations Wiradjuri for ‘Beautiful Skin’. A partnership between Wiradjuri men Robert Henderson and Billy Blue produced seven of Robert’s artwork into beautiful fabrics. The fabrics were transformed into stunning garments and they are appearing on the runway for all to admire.
