Klezmer Edition

This is a rare chance to learn Klezmer music (Eastern European-style Jewish music) with London Klezmer Quartet fiddler, Ilana Kravitz. Ilana is on a short tour of Australia, where she will be teaching tunes and traditional ormentation, followed by a Good Tunes session featuring Klezmer tunes. Ilana has introduced hundreds people of all ages to Klezmer via performances, through courses and workshops at universities and conservatoires. Teaching at events like the Genius of the Violin Festival and Fiddles on Fire. She is an instrumental teacher on the faculty of the international KlezFest London and also leads the Yiddish dances that form the bulk of the klezmer repertoire.
