National Pet Adoption Month
March 18 @ 8:00 am - March 19 @ 5:00 pm
To help change the lives of rescue pets and people, the Petspiration Foundation’s National Pet Adoption Month will be returning in March 2023.
- Over the past 18 months, we’ve seen a mass return of pets to pounds, leaving thousands of companion animals homeless across the nation.
- National animal welfare charity PetRescue has listed 56,077 adoptable pets in the past year alone (source), with cats, large dogs and bonded pairs remaining the most vulnerable.
- This March, the Petspiration Foundation is encouraging potential pet owners to Adopt Different and give a pet in need a brighter future.
All pets deserve a safe and loving home, and National Pet Adoption Month is the perfect opportunity to adopt or foster animals who are most in need in an effort to break the cycle of pet homelessness in Australia. Now’s the time to consider a cat that needs a loving home, a large dog that is craving your affection, or maybe you’ve got so much love to give that you could adopt a pair that simply can’t be separated.
