Paniyiri Greek Festival

The largest cultural festival in Queensland, and the longest running Greek festival in the country; Paniyiri, has announced it is being postponed from its planned dates of May 21 & 22 to October 15 & 16 this year due to the inclement weather forecasted.
After two years of cancellations due to covid, Brisbane’s Paniyiri Greek Festival is making its triumphant return to Musgrave Park on the weekend of May 21 and 22. Enjoy two delightful days of basking in the sun, laughing with friends, and drinking wine, all while smashing through plates of Greek food. Tickets have just gone on sale to this epic event which features a huge lineup of entertainment. Paniyiri is all about the food, and with 20 food stalls serving traditional cuisine from 11 different Greek regions, you can savour barbecue calamari, souvlaki, baklava, spanakopita, and honey puffs.
