Queensland Ballet celebrates the 10-year anniversary of Li Cunxin AO‘s Artistic Directorship in 2022, with a new season that includes favourites, blockbusters and new works. One of Sir Kenneth MacMillan‘s most iconic works, Manon tells the story of a young peasant girl in 18th century France, who as to choose between marrying Monsieur GM, who can lift her out of poverty, or Des Grieux, whom she loves, as she flees to New Orleans.
