Wedding Stories from Queensland, Queensland’s Museum’s new exhibition as we walk you down the aisle of changing custom, fashion and circumstance of weddings from the last 180 years. From an 1800s wedding gown to present day dresses and suits, I Do! shares stories of union against the backdrop of changing cultural, economic and social settings. Queensland Museum Network CEO Dr Jim Thompson said I Do! Wedding Stories from Queensland, exclusive to the Queensland Museum, will draw from the museum’s collection of historical wedding outfits, alongside some exciting contemporary loans.
