Renters Rights Launch

Brisbane Renters Alliance is launching a new campaign for stronger renters rights in Queensland. They want to pressure the State Government to introduce rent controls and greater lease stability for tenants. They also want to empower renters, educating them about their basic rights and encourage the community to challenge the treatment of housing as a commodity. They’re also planning to use this launch event to reveal the first real estate agency targeted for naming and shaming.
