The Planting Festival

Woodfordia is again under transformation to become a magical village for The Planting, happening in a week’s time, 28-30 April.
With the biggest programme since its beginning as a working bee 23 years ago, The Planting has truly grown into its own festival and out from the shadow of its big sister Woodford Folk Festival. Offering more than 200 shows (including 120 workshops and demonstrations) over the two days, across 25 indoor venues. Part outdoor camping festival, part learning and skill-developing in the arts, environmental sciences and practical skills in aspects like building and humanitarian and social development.
