$63.05 – $136.05Richard Tognetti leads this big, melodic, and emotively powerful opening to the Australian Chamber Orchestra’s 2018 season, featuring music by Tchaikovski , Brahms, America’s Missy Massoli and the Uk’s Anna Clyne.
Brahm’s Sexet in G major is rich, melodic, and powerful. Tchaikovski’s soothing Serenade for Strings gives you a chance to gasp for air. Then it’s back to the future with two new works by Missy Mazzoli and Anna Clyne. Mazzoli’s world premier concerto was commissioned for ACO Principle Double Base Maxime Bibeau, honouring his 20 years with the orchestra.
