World Music Cafe – New Generation

The new generation of contemporary Brisbane musicians of Asian heritage, is going to be served up hot at BEMAC’s first edition of the renowned World Music Café.
Performing live at Queensland Multicultural Centre will be Brisbane-based, Malaysian-born singer, songwriter and producer May Lyn, with her Atmospheric Future R&B. With comparisons to Tori Amos and Kate Bush, Brisbane’s emerging songbird Noralyn brings her evocative lyrics and melodious hooks to this unique World Music Café which is rounded off with a performance by founding member of Brisbane’s gypsy-infused caravan The Mouldy Lovers and 2017 Queensland Music Awards finalist Matt Hsu.
Performances start at 7pm, with the door and box office opening at 6:30pm. Come be blown away by the New Generation of contemporary Brisbane-Asian sounds at BEMAC’s first World Music Café of 2017.
