The Medibank Feel Good Program is returning to South Bank Parklands and the City’s Queen’s Park from 25 January to 27 March, to provide the Brisbane community with free fitness classes from morning to evening.

Series 2 2020 saw the strongest recorded start to a Feel Good season; a reflection of the community’s eagerness to reinstate their fitness and re-connect with nature and the outdoors post Brisbane’s COVID- 19 lockdown period. Across the program there were 7268 attendees, that’s 813 more attendees than Series 1 2020, which took place in January.

Now in its twelfth year, The Medibank Feel Good Program will continue its commitment to a COVIDSafe, open-air training program under the Queensland Government’s Industry Framework for COVID- Safe Events. This includes mandatory pre-registrations for contact tracing purposes, which in turn ensures measured attendance across the program.

Pre-registrations have officially opened for all classes across South Bank Parklands and the City, including program favourites such as Yoga, Pilates, and Zumba, as well as Tai chi, Bootcamp, Barre, Mums & Bubs, and Aqua Aerobics- held in South Bank’s Boat Pool. Once again, attendees will be invited to move and groove with free Ballroom and Bollywood Dancing, as well as Latin Fitness.

All classes are run by qualified instructors from Goodlife Health Clubs or certified dance trainers, delivering workouts designed to suit all preferences and fitness levels, ranging from low impact to high intensity. Participants are advised to bring a water bottle and towel to each class, as well as a Yoga mat when attending Yoga, Pilates, Barre as well as Mums & Bubs. The South Bank program will continue to host classes across Rainforest Green and the South Bank Piazza.
