This year’s Brisbane International Film Festival (BIFF) presented by the Queensland Art Gallery and Gallery of Modern Art (QAGOMA) was launched on Thursday 11 October. The event began with the Queensland premiere of Celeste, an enthralling love story produced by Brisbane-born film director Ben Hackworth. Guests at the event were also treated to drinks and canapes to celebrate the evening’s worth of achievements.
