Glee Coffee Roasters has made its Brisbane debut, opening a store in Glenelg Street on Sunday 10 June.

Brothers Ben and Chris Gleeson founded the chain on the New South Wales Central Coast a few years ago, but now Glee Coffee Roasters has gained a reputation for its speciality coffee. The South Brisbane location has ample space with plans to extend the business to include roasting and office facilities. The unique interior offers glimpses of the old-school gas roaster which provides customers with an insight into the process behind their morning coffee.

After almost 10 years, Glee Coffee has perfected its house blend known as The Goods. The blend features ethically sourced beans from Paupa New Guinea, Brazil and Ethiopia. The boys started off with a five kilogram roaster to service their bean needs, but now they own 70 kilogram, 30 kilogram and 24 kilogram roasters and pump out a tonne of coffee beans each week to meet demand. The ever-changing range of single origin offerings comes in both espresso and filter roasts and are suitable for alternative brewing methods. All of the beans can be ordered and delivered to your door, making coffee drinking more convenient than ever.

The boys promise to source, roast, brew and pour each cup with the utmost care and work only with ethically sourced green beans. The coffee crazed team not only is committed to serving beautifully crafted gourmet coffee, but to developing a relationship with the community that extends beyond the cup. Of course, it is essential to have tasty food to accompany your coffee and the Roasters does not disappoint in this department. The home-style menu offers all-day breakfast favourites including, salted caramel and honeycomb waffles and pulled jackfruit burgers for lunch.
