Onespace Gallery welcomed artist Sebastian Di Mauro at its latest exhibition Greenback on Saturday 6 April. Di Mauro turns his relocation from Australia to the United States into a compelling exhibition exploring the human need for warmth, nurture, and protection in a way that is both physical and cultural. Witness how his grandparent’s’ emigration from Sicily to Australia has influenced his symbolic creation, an embroidered US-military issue blanket. The exhibition closes on 30 April.
