Italian Street Kitchen (ISK) is bringing its authentic Italian flavours, vibrant atmosphere, and nostalgic feel to West Village. ISK is known for its traditional Italian street food with a modern twist, the sort of food that can take you from a daytime affair with family into a social gathering at night with friends sipping on classic Italian cocktails and wine.
Working with providores across Italy, ISK sources only the highest quality produce such as stone-ground flour from Parma, San Marzano tomatoes, and pecorino cheese from Sardinia, making every dining experience a uniquely Italian one. Fun fact: they even have their own proprietary flour from the best flour maker in Italy, Le 5 Stagioni.
Food Manager Giulio Marchese said, “Our pasta is made in house daily from a blend of different flours imported from Northern Italy that is exclusive to ISK. We developed a unique blend in collaboration with Le 5 Stagioni to ensure the pizza and pasta experience is unique to the brand.”
Highlights on the menu include the funghi pizza with fior di latte cheese, gorgonzola, mushrooms (enoki, oyster, and portobello), gremolata and extra virgin olive oil, the traditional Sardinian gnocchetti Sardi salsiccia with pork and fennel sausage, tomato, chilli, white wine, garlic and Parmigiano-Reggiano cheese, and of course, tiramisu. Better yet, ISK offers weekday lunch deals including a pizza, pasta, or salad with a drink for only $19—perfect for locals or those passing through lively West End. ISK also offers vegan and vegetarian options, including vegan cheese.
Italian Street Kitchen is part of the Seagrass Boutique Hospitality Group, which is opening its second Brisbane location in the heart of West End, following the launch of their first restaurant in Newstead in 2017.
