Opened in South Brisbane in May this year, Lush Flora is a tiny flower shop and studio which focuses on bespoke event florals for corporate events, parties, weddings and more in and around Brisbane.
Lush Flora prides itself on utilising unique, seasonal local and imported fresh flowers designed into modern arrangements, that are different from what you may typically find. Natasha Phun, the owner of Lush Flora, spent a year working with Sydney floral designer, Seed Flora. She worked on large scale event florals, product launch parties, weddings, and spent three years with Seed Flora on delivering the Annual David Jones Spring Flower Show, which is a major calendar event for David Jones, an event that has a 30 year history with David Jones.
After a year with Seed Flora, Natasha decided to go out on her own and created Lush Flora, to focus on bespoke, tailored, intimate events in Sydney. She moved to Brisbane in September 2019. Natasha started to work from her South Brisbane studio in April 2020, and opened her tiny floral shop in May to build a connection with the local community and to showcase her flowers. She makes each bouquet unique, so rather than having a standard set of recipe looks that can be ordered on her website, she prides herself on her knowledge and expertise of flowers, providing a very personalised bespoke service to her loyal following of customers which place orders from her locally, interstate and as far as the UK.
Natasha is super friendly, and loves people to come and enjoy the flowers whether they are buyers or not. She is passionate about nature, the healing effects of flowers, educating on seasonal blooms, Australiana, sustainability and spreading the joy of flowers with others. She prides herself as an eco conscious floral business, and her curated gifts include vegan, cruelty free, natural and socially responsible locally made products.
She loves to express her creativity through designing florals events, with a particular love for corporate dinners, corporate events, product launches, personalised event design and, of course weddings! If you have an upcoming event, drop in and chat to Natasha about your idea, as she would love to help you design your event!
