Producers Lucas D Lynch and Samantha Paterson will present a preview of their 2021 season, Lynch & Paterson, at the stunning Princess Theatre in Woolloongabba on Friday 23 October.

Lynch and Paterson are no strangers to the 132-year old theatre building having presented productions of The Pirates of Penzance and Rodgers & Hammerstein’s Cinderella and Lush: The Best of Musical Theatre at this theatre. “We are so excited to be getting back into the theatre after this world pandemic. The arts have suffered long enough and we are passionate about getting our 2021 productions up and running. We want our audiences and theatre fans excited about live entertainment again,” says Lucas D Lynch.

Lynch and Paterson are billing this event as a concert as they will pay tribute to their 2020 cancelled productions which includes Andrew Lloyd Webber’s Jesus Christ Superstar, Requiem and Song & Dance, as well as A Morning with Bernstein, A Celebration of Stephen Sondheim and The Music of John Williams. They will present segments from their 2021 season which will feature Cadenza Chamber Players, a rock band and some talented Brisbane performers.

After the concert, Brisbane local musicians EMQ Band will entertain guests with covers from the best of pop and rock. “We are devastated that we could not present our 2020 productions but we can promise an outstanding 2021 – a year for stories. We have some truly breathtaking stories to tell,” Samantha Paterson said. Lynch and Paterson will be presenting five main stage productions, a new cabaret and a South East Queensland Tour in 2021. All booking will be online due to the coronavirus and the tickets will sell for $25 each. All to be revealed on October 23rd at 7.30pm.
