Fashion social enterprise Magpie Goose hosted its pop up at Avid Kitchen and Garden on Friday 15 February. The brand shared its clothing featuring unique prints designed by Aboriginal artists from across Australia, with all designs hand screen printed, and then made ethically in Sydney into fabulous statement clothing pieces. New prints from Borroloola (gulf of carpentaria) artists Nancy McDinny and Stewart Hoosan, as well as a special collaboration with Jinibara artists (Woodford / Maleny / Glass house mountains country north of Brisbane) were on show. Guests also heard local Jinibara Artists Uncle Noel Blair and Jason Murphy talk about their featured designs.
