As Max Brenner approaches its 20th birthday celebrations in Australia, it will also be reopening the doors of its Southbank QLD Chocolate Bar this Friday, July 24, after a six-week refurbishment project.

Even though the new design features luxurious finishes, fixtures, and fittings, the interior still cleverly retains the essence of Max Brenner’s romantic, nostalgic, and youthful, provocative spirit, say the marketing team. The refurbished interior, increased seating, all-new furniture, as well as the addition of a new Ice-Cream Bar, are the perfect backdrop to all things chocolate.

To celebrate the official reopening of the iconic Southbank Chocolate Bar, Max Brenner is inviting all chocolate lovers to an official chocolate-breaking ceremony from 4pm on Friday 24 July 2020 where 100kg of delicious pure chocolate is smashed to pieces, so everyone can get a little bit of Max. This reopening will coincide with Max’s Winter Dessert creations promotion.

“This is a very exciting time for Max Brenner Australia. In the past couple of months alone we have released mouth-watering Winter dessert creations, successfully opened our Broadmeadows Chocolate Bar in VIC, and launched our new Mobile App! This is just what Australian chocoholics have been craving from Max Brenner and we are delighted to deliver it, with plenty more to follow!” said head of Marketing, Avril-Summer Cusack.

Earlier in May, Max Brenner launched its new Mobile App to provide chocoholics the comfort of contact-free payments, browsing of Max’s Dessert Bar Menu, as well as indulgent built-in rewards. The “$5 instant credit on sign-up” launch offer is still available, for a limited time.

Max Brenner Southbank is located between Little Stanley Street and the Lagoon / Brisbane Riverpool and the official opening ceremony will be held from 4pm on Friday 24 July 2020.

Since Max Brenner Australia changed ownership in mid-2019 the brand has gone from strength to strength, said Cusack.
