Guests at the official opening night of Muriel’s Wedding the Musical in QPAC’s Lyric Theatre on 21 September were thrilled to be attending the Wedding of the Year. Turning out in bright numbers and accessories to reflect this colourful show, some guests even wore themed “You’re Terrible Muriel” T-shirts and many joined in the red carpet fun competing to catching a wedding bouquet. Cast and company enjoyed a post-show party in the Divine Bar in Arcadia (Brisbane Festival) with their friends and family, dressed in 80s inspired dress.
