South Brisbane’s newest fish and chip restaurant, Ol’ Schoolopened its doors for the first time on Wednesday 13 December. The launch showcased what diners can expect to enjoy from the menu, inspired by home cooking. Guests were treated to Aperol Spritz, wine and beer, as well as freshly shucked oysters, fresh fish, handmade chips, dim sims and more, in a retro-themed space. The evening also introduced an impressive theatrical element to their table service, reminiscent of vintage fish and chip dining. Taking up residence on Hope Street, Ol’ School is now open to members of the public who want to enjoy fish and chips with an old school edge.
