Superstar conductor Alondra de la Parra led the Queensland Symphony Orchestra in its Maestro series Soloists and Spontaneity with artist-in-residence the internationally acclaimed Sergio Tiempo on piano at QPAC’s Concert Hall on Saturday 4 August. The Orchestra was granted a standing ovation for Stravinsky’s Dumbarton Oaks, Rachmaninov‘s mighty Third Piano Concerto, plus Bartók‘s spectacular Concerto for Orchestra.
