River Quay Turns 10

Brisbane’s premier riverside dining precinct at River Quay has been gracing the community with its premium restaurants, riverside long lunches, and luscious green lawn space for 10 years. To celebrate, eatSouthBank will be hosting a picnic to mark the special occasion on November 27 and 28. River Quay restaurants at South Bank will be celebrating what they do best: combining stellar city views with premier dining experiences.

The precinct has served as Brisbane’s top riverfront dining destination with restaurants including Aquitaine Brasserie, Popolo Italian Kitchen, The Jetty, River Quay Fish, and the recently opened Otto Ristorante. River Quay has received several accolades over the years, scoring various Property Council Queensland Retail Property Awards for Excellence in Food Retailing and Presentation. It has firmly placed its stamp on Brisbane as a place for families, friends, and dates.

In celebration of its 10th anniversary, River Quay will be offering a variety of offers including a premium seated picnic dining experience, takeaway picnic hampers, and restaurant dining offers at their ‘River Quay Turns 10’ weekend-long soiree. Don’t haste – grab your best lunch buddies and arrive at River Quay for an afternoon of grazing, feasting, and good times.

Each restaurant is taking bookings for their communal long table picnic hampers. Expect oysters, seafood platters, prosecco, and more, and there will be various seating times starting from 12pm through the afternoon. Alternatively, bring your own rug and order a takeaway picnic hamper. Feast on Moreton Bay bao buns, fish tacos, charcuterie, fresh-baked breads, and seafood from the precinct’s restaurants.

Hampers can be pre-ordered via each restaurant’s website and picked up on the day. If you like to sit a little higher above the ground, join each restaurant for their celebratory dining offers from bottomless lunches, seafood platters with wine, and Grey Goose cocktail boards. Bookings can be made on each restaurant’s website.
