A full house rocked out in QPACs’ Concert Hall on Tuesday 11 June at the QPAC Choir Showcase performance. Presented by QPAC, this toe tapping concert raised the roof as QPAC Choir and QPAC Youth Choir demonstrated their many months of rehearsals with a mixed repertoire from hard rock to soft pop rock. The QPAC Choir delivered a stunning choral rendition of popular songs by Queen, Fleetwood Mac, Bon Jovi, 10CC, The Beatles, Pink Floyd, The Beach Boys and much more accompanied by a 10- piece Rock Choir band. The audience was also treated to stellar performances by guest artists from Queensland Conservatorium Griffith University’s 3rd Year Musical Theatre students, Brisbane-based youth dance company, Merge Dance Theatre and singing and dancing by QPAC’s recently established Youth Choir.
