January 2023: U.S. fitness phenomenon Rumble Boxing has made its way down under and swinging open its doors in January 2023.

West End, Brisbane will be home to the first Rumble Boxing in Queensland, following the opening of four Rumble Boxing studios, two in WA, one in Sydney and one in Melbourne late last year, and another 31 planned locations across the country to follow. The highly anticipated, boxing-inspired fitness concept combines the intensity of boxing with the transformative power of strength training. Founded in 2017 in New York City, Rumble Boxing has been backed by the likes of Justin and Hayley Bieber, Sylvester Stallone, Rhianna, Kendal Jenner, David Beckham and Selena Gomez.

Powered by five core values, individualism, strength, persistence, consequence and vibe – Rumble Boxing West End Lead Trainer Rachel Thaiday says the experience is unlike any other workout in Australia. “The 45 min workout where it truly is YOU VS YOU. A workout that knows no bounds holds no judgment or expectations. A place where all are welcome. A place of unity and community,” Thaiday added.

Each class is a 10-round, full-body workout crafted around specially designed aqua boxing bags, paired with custom playlists and a mega-watt sound system. Rumble Boxing offers a premium fit out and a level of service that is second to none. Thaiday says another contributing factor to feeling so good after class is the aqua bags. “When you throw a punch, the force transfers through the water in the bag rather than back through your knuckles, wrist, elbow, shoulder and eventually your spine. It means less impact, less injuries and more comfort.”

The classes are set up so you can Rumble at your own pace, making it ideal for both beginners and experienced fitness enthusiasts. She adds, “The floor side is set up with multiple dumbbell weight options to tailor the work out to your own fitness levels.”

West End GM and fitness veteran Jess explains, “Every class begins with a run through of the six punches, allowing regulars to check their form and beginners to receive some quality instruction and coaching. Once the lights and music start, you get lost in your work out and come out better every time.”

“Make sure you come in and meet the team, Jess (soon to be a West End local) is focused on building the community first and would love to meet you. Currently offering 3 free classes to locals for the month of January, now is the time to hit those fitness goals for 2023. Bench like Biebs, box like Stallone and rumble like Rhianna. Whatever your level of experience, the music,

the vibe and the trainers will encourage and motivate you to push your best self.
