Brisbane’s iconic West End Markets have a new look and name.

Previously the Davies Park Markets, the West End Markets will still be held at Davies Park in West End every Saturday from 6am to 2pm. The West End Markets are a vibrant ensemble of more than 150 small businesses and vendors that come together each Saturday morning to provide the community with farm-direct fresh produce, healthy takeaway food, eclectic fashion and handmade gifts to purchase.

The West End Markets have a focus on the community and involving the diverse West End community in their event. The event is host to fresh seafood and meats, artisan baked breads and pastries and traditional foods for locals to grab a bite to eat and they also sell arts and crafts, jewellery, flowers and plants that would be perfect for tourists to check out.

The markets have free entry for guests to wander the park in the hopes of finding the perfect gift to take home. The event is fun for the whole family and is pet friendly as long as pets are kept on leashes. The West End Markets aim to foster the local arts scene with live music to serenade you while you browse and one of kind items available for purchase. The markets also pride themselves on empowering social causes that represent the local community. The scenic park is along the Brisbane River under Moreton Bay Figs, creating the perfect setting for a Saturday morning activity.

Mix and mingle amongst West End locals, whilst appreciating the importance of supporting local businesses at the West End Markets. Good news: the markets are open rain, hail and shine!
