The West End State School Fiesta will return to the 4101 on Sunday 23 June at the school grounds, and is the biggest fundraising event of the year for the school. All funds raised will go straight to the P&C Committee which annually donates in excess of $130,000 to the school for IT and library upkeep, large projects such as AC in buildings, oval maintenance, landscaping and shades for play areas.

This year’s fiesta will feature a range of food and drink stalls, locally produced craft and plants, a vintage goods stall, for the kids a cake decorating competition and the adults will be treated with a bar. There will of course be rides, music entertainment from students and local musicians and a range of family activities.

Students are also involved with the operations Sideshow Alley, running old-fashioned games and can be a part of creating art at the decorating area.

The Fiesta runs from 10am to 4pm on Sunday 23 June.
